WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD.to all university freshers......

_to all freshers....._

*WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD*

Early in the morning when the sun ๐ŸŒžwas rising from the east๐ŸŒ— and the birds were chirping happily๐Ÿ•Šand I could faintly hear the bleating of the goats๐Ÿ because I was half awake, but suddenly my *PEN*๐Ÿ–Š jumped down from the table beside the books where I left it last night , and it rolled speedily to my bed and whispered: _"Google,  why are you still sleeping by this hour of the day? Wake up, it's morning already!"_ I felt reluctant to concur but then it wouldn't stop its yearning so i jumped to my feet. My pen then said to me: _" see,  i have alot to tell you concerning this next level you are stepping into,  so pick me up on a paper and let's reason together "_

But I myself have some things in mind to write about _"My secondary school life & life after secondary school"_ and now, my pen want to tell me something about _"the next phase of my life .."_ which is _"I as a university fresher"_ that means 'Two don cut Four be that๐Ÿ˜'

I pick up the pen and start to communicate in 'black and white'.

I would be ungrateful if I don't give all glory to omega who has made me grow this mega beyond the level of any beggar!  I say,  *may His name be praised.*

   *MY STORY*

My dear *PEN*

it hasn't been easy o,  from nursery to primary and then to secondary school. many i know have quitted the race!  I know nothing about the university but you've promised to enlighten me about that but spare me a little time dear *PEN*'".

The nursery and primary school was all play and fun๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿ’ƒ.We were still myopic about life in general then. All we knew and did then was to *play, eat, play and repeat the process!*
But it's so sad only few of those i enjoyed their jocund company then made it to the secondary school.   Perhaps, the Yoruba adage that.    _*ogun omode o le sere fun  ogun odun*_is true.

Nonetheless, the journey continues.....

But on getting to secondary school when the girls had started developing breasts ๐Ÿ™ˆ (lol)...  and the guys-deep voice๐Ÿ˜† ("big boy things")๐Ÿ˜‰,we would try to look our very best to impress those "baes" and likewise the females,to impress "boos๐Ÿ˜‰" However, some people had nothing in mind except reading!

Just like a dream, the final exams were here  and on hearing "WAEC starts tomorrow" ๐Ÿ˜ขyour heart jumped from your chest into your pocket ๐Ÿ˜ฑ ! But sooner than expected, the journey of 6years was finally over. However, while some were thankful for 6years well spent plus success in their examination, others were in a state of dismay, likewise their parents who would be in a sardonic state, Why? because their children had nothing to prove successful completion of 6-year secondary school.

*Indeed! It worths being sad as it equals a waste of time and money!*

After *LORD WAEC* comes the *Almighty JAMB*. With rigorous reading and strong *Jackometer's life*, A few overpowered it.๐Ÿ˜€

And then, no POST UTME ๐Ÿ™,thus making a student who scored as high as 300+ in jamb denied admission because he lack of A's in his O'level๐Ÿ˜ฐ. Believe me! With this system, some still made it ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ˜Š! While many blamed and cursed Jamb and the government particularly Adamu Adamu, others would forever be grateful for  the [50:50] system. _*Simply the irony of life!๐Ÿค”*_

And then while some see the loss of this year's admission as a defeat, others took up the challenge because  it's an opportunity to begin again but more seriously!

And when the resumption day would be near ๐Ÿ˜ƒ,everyone would be over-joyous and ready to embrace their new world! There would be a lot of preparations,  and the *LAW* students' boxes shall be full of "black and white" clothes- like that of the CAC choir ๐Ÿ˜….

Of course, they would be happy bcos it's a dream coming to reality ๐Ÿ™‚.

Many would be like *the long awaited freedom is here! ☝๐Ÿ˜ƒ*

At this juncture, let me give audience to my dear *PEN* to enlighten me on _*I as a university fresher!*_ while i eat my ๐Ÿ˜‹ breakfast.

*๐Ÿ–ŠTO MY MASTER AND OTHER FRESHERS*

Hmmmm... You've  spoken well my master,  and I'm ready to put you through.

_THE PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD!_   and as such, i'm sure my pieces of advice below would prove that to you! ๐Ÿ–Š

Yes,  since you are going into this new world to study law,  then,my discussion may seem to centre only on law freshers,  but then any other fresher  would gain from it!

Now,the time has finally come, the time the freedom you've ever craved for would be granted!
Your life is finally yours to decide!

Many things would have to change.

-No parents to scold and correct you for any wrong done!

-No one to chase you to the bathroom anymore!

-Whether you've eaten or not,  it's no one's business!

-Also,It would be your choice to either read or forget what book is,  but the consequence will surface in the end.
In short,  you choose the life to live!

Many are coming with the mindset of turning into *JACKO-METERS* , while some are on the mission of hunting guys/girls.๐Ÿ˜‚

*A lot of distraction awaits you!*

*A lot of fun also awaits you!*

*in fact , all freedom is yours already!*

But my master,  don't be carried away by all the side attractions!

Don't be blindfolded by the excitement!

*Never compete with anybody!*

*Never envy anybody for the spirit of jacking they posses!*

*Don't subject yourself to being intimidated by anyone because of "what they know" for you can always be better than them if you are determined to!*

_my dear,  nobody is better than you!_

Many would visit the library more often than the librarian himself, do not be jealous!. Even when they bury their heads into the pages of their books every moment,  my dear, don't let that spoil your mood,  don't let others' success affect you,  rather let it give you some encouragement!  You can't be anybody other than yourself, *you are you!  And that's what you could ever be!*

*Be proud of who you are and always work on being a better you!*

You are going into a world that comprises of people from different tribes and religions . You are going into another "sub-planet" where you would meet a lot of people with different characters/attitude.  But don't you expect perfection from people!
*"you will live longer, once you realize that any moment spent in unhappiness is a waste"*

*SO BE HAPPY ALWAYS*

Enjoy yourself to the fullest, but never forget the primary aim of being THERE!

Your parents are at home working tirelessly in order to make sure you lack nothing! Would you be happy to put them to shame?
*Would you let your 5 years in the  university be a waste?*

Yes,  now you would be studying one of the best  courses in any university, don't let that get into your head. Be humble! Try to tolerate many if not all. Don't be freaked by that attire (black & white)
You are a law student,  cool! Don't hide under that umbrella to bully others.  Because what you study in school does not in any way determine your success!

Be wise enough to recognize the bad companies when they come around!
Always do the right thing at the right time and always remember the son of whom you are!

*some boys and girls are in school...... Roaring like lions and searching for destiny to devour!*  my dear, don't fall victim! ๐Ÿ™

_"ibere kin se onise , afi eni to ba fi ori tiii de opin la o gbala!"_- the beginner is nothing compared to the finisher that would be redeemed.

Don't be covetous of other people's things...

And above all

_*"SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND OTHER THINGS SHALL BE ADDED  UNTO THEE"*_
Meaning ... Move closer to your God than ever before!!

*A LIFE WITHOUT CHRIST IS IN CRISIS!!*

And to the Muslims

*A LIFE WITHOUT ALLAH IS IN CALAMITY!*

In conclusion

*BE A GOOD BOY,  MY PEN TOLD ME!.*

My name remains...
